Combat Crunch Cookies 'N' Cream Review

This was my second experience with this line of protein bars and my first experience trying the Combat Crunch cookies ‘n’ cream flavor. My first experience came from their cookie dough flavor, which I enjoyed quite a bit. Will I enjoy this one as much? Only one way to find out.

Unfortunately, I did not. The cookie dough flavor was a lot tastier in my opinion. The bar has a very desirable appearance that looks like it’s just packed full of flavor, but the flavor doesn’t live up to what you believe it should be. It’s a not a bad taste that I did enjoy to a degree, but it definitely didn’t amaze me either.

Size Comparison

The Combat Crunch cookies ‘n’ cream flavor totals out to 210 calories consisting of the macros 20p/25c/7f in addition to 12g fiber. Pretty good macros but a little on the higher side of calories. With the fiber content and whey protein isolate as the main source though, this bar does have a solid nutritional profile so I can’t complain about that.Combat Crunch Cookies 'N' Cream Review

The Combat Crunch cookies ‘n’ cream bar wasn’t bad by any means, but ultimately I was a little disappointed in the final outcome. The appearance led me to believe it would have a more intense flavor than it actually did. It was above average for sure, but not a top ranking flavor that that I can see myself continuously going back to. I would go back to the cookie dough flavor, but probably not this one. Your mileage may vary as some people seem to really enjoy it, so I’d say give it a shot yourself and see if it’s worth it.
