I’m not 100% positive, but I’m fairly certain that the Quest mint chocolate is the newest flavor in the Quest bar line. It’s definitely one of the newest 2-3 at least. I will admit, I’m not the biggest mint chocolate fan so I wasn’t as hyped for this flavor as others were I’m sure. I knew there were chocolate chunks included which were sure to hold my interest throughout the minty bar, so I did have some aspect to look forward to at least.
Quest Mint Chocolate Review
The Quest mint chocolate bar tasted exactly how I expected it to taste, which definitely isn’t a bad thing for chocolate mint lovers but at the same time, it did nothing different to turn me into a huge fan. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy this bar though; the chocolate chunks were indeed delicious and the chocolate base of the bar itself was pretty good. The mint chips added in definitely nail the flavor well and do complement the chocolate flavors nicely. Even if mint isn’t my absolute favorite flavor, I can appreciate what they did with their take on it and can see how people who like the flavor in general would really enjoy this bar.
The calories for the Quest mint chocolate bar totals out 190 calories consisting of the macros 20p/21c/9f in addition to 15g fiber. Some of the higher fat content for a Quest bar, but with the amount of chunks in it I wasn’t surprised to see the number.
This was a very good take on the mint chocolate flavor. The chocolate chunks are awesome and it’s not too overpowering with the mint so I was still able to enjoy it quite a lot. There’s more of a chocolatey taste with this bar as opposed to minty, which is definitely okay with me. Despite myself not liking mint too much, I would still place the Quest mint chocolate in my top half of their flavors. If you’re a big fan of mint chocolate, then you’re likely to love this bar.
