B Up Vanilla Peanut Butter Review

B Up Vanilla Peanut Butter

Yup’s B Up line is one of the better protein bar lines out there, in my opinion. I’ve yet to try some more dense lines like Robert Irvine’s Fit Crunch however, but in comparison to companies with similar macros and fiber content, I would place B Up in 4th place behind Quest, Combat Crunch and Oh Yeah! One (in no order). With that being said, I’ve yet to really find a flavor from B Up that I would consistently eat over most of the bars from those top 3 that I listed. That all changes with the B Up vanilla peanut butter bar.

B Up Vanilla Peanut Butter

I think I can without a doubt say this is my favorite flavor offering from B Up. It is the third of their peanut butter based flavors which is a little bit of an overkill I will say considering they don’t have too many flavors to begin with, but this is their best yet. It’s a multi layered bar, which is not only cool to look at but you also know it’s going to have a combination of flavors by seeing it. The top overlapping layer is vanilla flavored, which is very soft and doughy. It matches very well with the firmer texture and not as sweet peanut butter layer below, which also contains tiny peanuts that provide a slight crunch here and there. Overall, the opposing flavors and the opposing textures balanced out each other very well.

Size Comparison

The B Up vanilla peanut butter bar totals out to 210 calories consisting of the macros 20p/24c/19f/ in addition to 18g fiber. The fiber is very high like all other B Up bars, but it does contain some of the highest fat and most calories out of all their flavors unfortunately. Considering it’s the best tasting of all their flavors though, this flaw can be forgiven.

B Up Vanilla Peanut ButterAs far as I know this is the last of the B Up flavors for me to try, and I’m glad I saved the best for last. The B Up vanilla peanut butter bar was definitely a standout amongst their flavors and the best they have to offer in my opinion. This is probably the first flavor from B Up that I would eat over select Quest and Combat Crunch flavors, but not many. If you’re going with a bar from B Up, this is the definitely the one I would recommend.
