Victory Chocolate Fudge Brownie Review

Victory Chocolate Fudge Brownie

As far as Oh Yeah! protein bars go, I find Victory to be their inferior line. Their One bars reign supreme, easily. Not to say Victory bars are bad, they’re just usually pretty average while their One bars are usually pretty incredible. I’ve tried the One chocolate brownie, and it was pretty incredible. Going by this consistent pattern, it seems likely that I would find the Victory chocolate fudge brownie to be pretty average.

Logic prevailed as the pattern did indeed hold consistent. The Victory chocolate fudge bar was average to slightly above average, and tasted just how I expected a bar of that flavor to come from this line. The texture of the bar somewhat resembles a Quest bar, just not good in my opinion. It’s much thinner and slender, but does it give a longer length. There are plenty of chocolate chips to be found in this bar, but they aren’t extremely flavorful and aren’t big enough to really have an impact. They are a decent crunch here and there though.

Size Comparison

The Victory chocolate fudge brownie bar totals out to 200 calories consisting of the macros 21p/27c/6f in addition to 17g fiber. From a nutritional standpoint and macro wise, this is a really solid bar and one of the best in the game, really. What it lacks in taste over the One chocolate brownie version, it makes up for in this aspect as the calories and fat are lower while the fiber is almost double.

Victory Chocolate Fudge Brownie This was not a bad protein bar by any means, and was a pretty decent take on the flavor. When you consider just how many protein bars there are out there, the Victory chocolate fudge brownie is actually one of the better ones. However, in comparison to the very best in the protein bar industry, it definitely falls short. It just can’t even begin to match up to the likes of Quest, Combat Crunch or Oh Yeah! One! It was pretty good, but with those brands out there offering a similar product for a better taste, it’s hard to recommend it fully.
