Power Crunch Salted Caramel Review

Power Crunch Salted Caramel Review

I’ve been looking forward to writing this Power Crunch Salted Caramel review for awhile now. With the exception of their chocolate mint flavor, I’ve given every Power Crunch bar an ‘A’ rating so yeah, I really enjoy these products needless to say. The nostalgic vibes of sugar wafer cookies that I get when eating these is almost too much to handle, but so awesome at the same time.

Power Crunch Salted Caramel Review

This flavor was no let down. Immediately upon opening the packaging, I got a fairly strong aroma of that amazing salted caramel scent; it was great and really hyped me up. It tasted every bit as strong as it smelled as well, this flavor was DELICIOUS. Very faithful to the salted caramel flavors as they balanced each other out and meshed perfectly; the ratio was on point for sure. I felt it hit the right amount of sweetness and wasn’t as mild as some of their other flavors were. And of course to no surprise, that classic sugar wafer texture is still there so you almost feel like you’re eating a Keebler Elf wafer cookie… Which is pretty cool, obviously.

Size Comparison

The salted caramel flavor totals out to 205 calories consisting of the macros 13p/9c/13f in addition to 1g fiber. This goes without saying, but yeah, obviously the macros aren’t very good if you’re on a low fat diet. The opposite holds true if you’re on a low carb diet though. Regardless, these are pretty average numbers as far Power Crunch bars go.

Power Crunch Salted Caramel ReviewI expected to end my Power Crunch Salted Caramel review with optimistic feelings… So I’m happy to say that everything went according to plan. The sugar wafer texture is just as good as ever, the flavor accuracy is nailed, and the sweetness is spot on. Overall, this was an awesome product all around and one of my top 3-4 Power Crunch flavors. The only downfall is the macros, but they can actually be good depending on your specific macronutrient ratio. Like all things with nutrition and fitness really, it just depends.
