I’m curious to see how the BPI Chocolate Peanut Butter bar will turn out. I’ve enjoyed the other BPI flavors to a certain degree, but I haven’t been super crazy about any of them to be quite honest. They’re pretty good but nothing incredible. I’ve yet to find a chocolate peanut butter protein that I absolutely love either. Maybe this will be the one… And maybe not. Only one way to find out.

Well, it’s not the godsend chocolate peanut butter protein bar that I was hoping it would be. It was pretty good though. Still nothing amazing. So yeah, basically like all of their other flavors as well. I do think this is my favorite flavor based off first impression however. It has the same Quest bar-like texture where it’s fairly chewy but a little firm on the outside. The chocolate base was amplified by the dried peanut butter chunks which are the best things about this bar hands down; they’re fairly big and contain decent peanut butter flavor.

Size Comparison

The BPI Chocolate Peanut Butter flavor totals out to 230 calories consisting of the macros 20p/28c/8f in addition to 17g fiber. The calories are slightly higher compared to most of the competition out there, but it’s still not too bad overall. The macros are good as far as ratios go though.

BPI Chocolate Peanut ButterThere may be more flavors out there, but this was the last of the four flavors that I found at the Vitamin Shoppe that I went to. It was definitely a good note to end on as the BPI Chocolate Peanut Butter bar ended up being my favorite out of all the flavors that I tried. It has some room for improvement still, but it’s one of the better chocolate peanut butter protein bars out there. It gets the nod over the same flavored bar from Quest in my opinion.
